The Milford Design Guide has been revised and approved.
What has been updated?
- The “Criteria for Evaluating Significance & Integrity” section and local category system has been removed from Section 1.4 Design Review Procedures. This change was recommended by the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office (PA SHPO) and ensures that the Guidelines follow PA SHPO’s best practices.
- Chapters 1 and 2 of the Design Guide have been reorganized for clarity. The content of individual chapter sections remains mostly unchanged from the first Public Review Draft, with some text revisions.
- Minor text revisions and addition of a navigation button to return readers to the Table of Contents if reading the digital version of the Guide.
