Yard waste pickup is resuming. Place yard waste in the alley adjacent to your property for pickup by 7 am on Mondays. Properties without an adjacent alley should place yard waste on the street side.
Yard waste must be put in cans, paper bags, or bundled so it can be easily lifted to shoulder height. Only three 32-gallon cans (not exceeding 50 lbs.) may be placed out for pickup in a week. Additional yard waste must be bundled or placed in biodegradable bags. Thanks for your cooperation!
Due to the snowstorm, this week's garbage/recycling pickup will be on Friday, January 30th.
Please have your cans out by 7 am on Friday.

Milford Borough Governance
The Borough Council is the elected governing body for the Borough of Milford. The council hires all employees, sets the annual budget, approves or revises all borough ordinances, and has authority over all the departments of the Borough of Milford.
The council meets on the third Monday of every month at Borough Hall at 7 p.m. at 109 West Catharine Street, Milford, PA 18337. There is a portion of these monthly meetings set aside for public comment. The council also holds Workshop meetings quarterly.
Additionally, the HARB meeting is held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m., and the Planning meeting is held on the first and fourth Monday of each month, as needed, at 6 p.m.

Borough Administrators
The Milford Borough Council includes seven elected officials. They are responsible for governing the Borough by enacting ordinances, approving the annual budget, setting tax rates, and overseeing public services like streets, parks, and sanitation. They establish policies, hire borough staff, and ensure the safety and welfare of residents.
The Milford Mayor oversees the Milford Borough Police Department. The mayor may attend council meetings and participate in the discussions, but can't vote except in cases of a tie.
