DATE: Friday, the 11th of September 2026, Location: Milford Fire Department Memorial on Catharine St., PA. TIME: 11:00 A.M. PURPOSE: To honor and remember the people who lost their lives, were wounded, injured, and traumatized by the terrorist attack on Tuesday, the 11th of September 2001.

Milford Borough, was one of thirty-one area nonprofits awarded grant funds from the Richard L. Snyder Fund at Greater Pike Community Foundation. The Foundation's generosity and commitment to beautification and preservation once again helps the Borough to maintain its historic architecture. The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) awarded the Lions Club a grant to purchase solar equipment to light the Star on Milford Knob. Maria Farrell, Vice President of the Milford Borough Council and a member of the Restore the Star committee, accepted the check on behalf of the Lions Club. Shaun Burger, a member of the Restore the Star committee, was also in attendance.
