Milford Borough has been awarded $186,500 from the LSA Statewide Grant for Phase 2 of the Ann St. Park Renovation. These funds, along with the $200,000 awarded last year, will allow us to finish the playground, the fencing, and the gazebo inside the playground area. Work on Phase 2 will begin in Spring 2026.

The Richard L. Snyder Fund at Greater Pike Community Foundation awarded Milford Borough, a $4,000.00 grant in support of the Preservation and Beautification of Milford Borough’s Historic Village Hall. The Hall has been painted, and  the windows have been cleaned and glazed.

Leaf Collection days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Leaves should be piled at the edge of your property, NOT  on the street. Remove branches and rocks from leaf piles to prevent damage to the collection machine. Leaf piles, containing anything other than leaves, will not be collected.

The old playground equipment has been removed, and construction of a stone retaining wall and installation of the playground equipment are in progress.

Halloween Trick-or-Treating in Milford Borough will be on Friday, October 31st from 4:00pm – 8:00pm.

Due to the Labor Day holiday, garbage pickup will be on Friday, Sept. 5th this week.  Please have your garbage cans and recycling (if you recycle) out by 7am on Friday morning.  Regular Thursday pickup will resume next week.

FEMA Region III has provided Milford Borough with copies of preliminary updated Flood Insurance Rate Maps for all of Pike County. The Maps and Study are available for review in the Borough Office, 500 Broad Street.  Milford Borough will be accepting comments through September 15 th on the maps and study.
