Broad St./Constitution Ave. Bridge Closed

From the Pike County Commissioner’s Office:

On the morning of February 22, 2026 Pike County became aware of additional roadway cracking adjacent to the upstream parapet wall of the Broad Street/Constitution Avenue Bridge over the Vandermark Creek. The County Engineer reviewed the conditions and determined the deterioration of the road surface has worsened recently, and this condition is likely a direct result of the continued movement of the parapet wall. As a result, the County Engineer recommended immediate closure of Broad Street in this area. Additional investigation will be undertaken in the near future.
