Trash Pickup This Week
Due to the Labor Day holiday, garbage pickup will be on Friday, Sept. 5th this week. Please have your garbage cans and recycling (if you recycle) out by 7am on Friday morning. Regular Thursday pickup will resume next week.

Preliminary Revised FEMA Flood Insurance Map
FEMA Region III has provided Milford Borough with copies of preliminary updated Flood Insurance Rate Maps for all of Pike County. The Maps and Study are available for review in the Borough Office, 500 Broad Street. Milford Borough will be accepting comments through September 15 th on the maps and study.

Greater Pike Community Foundation Award
Milford Borough was awarded $4,000 from the Greater Pike Community Foundation and the Richard L Snyder Fund to paint the Borough Hall Building. The Borough is grateful to the Greater Pike Community Foundation and the Richard L Snyder Fund for their support. There has been some confusion lately regarding street trees in Milford Borough. Street trees are those trees planted in the verge along all of our streets, NOT the Alleyways. Street trees belong to the Borough and cannot be trimmed or taken down without permission from the Borough. Sawkill Avenue Closure Tomorrow
Upper Sawkill Ave at the end of Broad St. will be closed tomorrow, Thursday August 7 th , until emergency road construction is completed. Local residents only will be allowed to enter Sawkill Ave beyond the one-way street side by the Water Wheel café until repairs are finished. New Garbage Contract with Casella
